More and more people are turning to the martial arts for protection and Tae Kwon-Do can certainly provide this. It is a superb form of self-defence and also a great way of keeping fit.
My name is Shane Knight, I have studied Tae Kwon Do for over 15 years and have been a fully qualified instructor for 9 of those. I have found over my years of training and teaching that the Art certainly helps with confidence and self belief.
During the course of our lessons we encourage fitness, respect for self and others, friendship and, most of all, fun.
I teach mixed classes where adults and juniors can join in together, this also allows parents to take part in an activity with their children if they want to.
We have ages from 5 years and up.

Or it is just something that they wanted to do, we cater for ages 5+ and all abilities
( you wont be judged on your fitness or your abilities, we all had to start somewhere).
The Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain is the largest single martial arts organisation in the UK and, as such, has representation all across the country. It is registered with the British Taekwondo Council which, in turn, is recognised by the Sports Council and, all of its instructors have enhanced CRB clearance.
